Clothes are best divided into 3 types: white, colored (or light) and black (including dark shades, e.g. navy blue). We do not mix types with each other, because clothes can dye.

Then:

Check the pockets of trousers, sweatshirts and shirts for e.g. money or tissues. Washing black clothes with a handkerchief will cause the whole laundry to be covered with white particles.

Do up all zippers and buttons. An open zipper can pull clothes during washing.

Turn clothes inside out.

Clothes that are exposed to damage, e.g. lace bras or tights, should be washed in special bags for washing underwear. You will find such bags with us, they are at your disposal.

Filling the drum, or how much laundry to put in the washing machine?

The drum of a washing machine is usually filled to about 3/4 of its capacity. Leaving space will allow the clothes to rotate freely during washing and reduce creasing.

Clothes detergent: powder, liquid

The laundry detergent is best matched to the color of the fabric and its type. Capsules are available in our laundry room. 1 capsule is the right amount for 1 wash. You will also find a wide selection of fabric softeners to suit your taste.

At what temperature to wash clothes?

Universal temperature standards that ensure the safety of fabrics during washing are:

  1. 90 degrees Celsius - towels, pajamas, children's bodysuits,
  2. 60 degrees Celsius - tablecloths, bedding, children's clothes,
  3. 40 degrees Celsius - shirts, cotton underwear, dresses, denim fabrics, sweatshirts, trousers, T-shirts, cotton blouses,
  4. 30 degrees Celsius - lace, silk and wool fabrics.
